Sleep and mental health

The Quebec Sleep Research Network invites you to the first edition of its Summer School! This event will take place from July 4th to July 7th at the K-500 amphitheater in the Roger-Gaudry Pavilion of the University of Montreal. This year, we will explore the relationship between sleep and mental health. We invite students, researchers, research team members and health professionals to attend this Summer School. The Summer School will be preceded by a public conference on sleep and well-being and will conclude with a workshop on insomnia treatment.

We are also proud to announce that our Summer School is recognized as a continuing education activity by the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (RE06299-24).

July 4th, 7 p.m.

Summer School from 8:40 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Continuing Education Activity

For those who participate in the entirety of the Summer School, the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec will recognize 19.5 hours of continuing education. It is also possible to participate in individual days to obtain a recognized number of continuing education hours, allowing for greater flexibility. We invite all mental health professionals to seize this unique opportunity for training on sleep.

Friday July 5 = 7 hours ($170)
Saturday July 6 = 6 hours ($150)
Sunday July 7 = 6.5 hours ($160)

Infographic Contest

 

The Sleep Summer School 2024 invites students to an infographic contest. The contest will focus on creating a visual to explain the links between sleep and mental health to the general public.

Deadline for submission of infographics in PDF format: June 20, 2024, 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The infographic must be printed and posted from 8:45 a.m. on Friday July 5, 2024 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday July 6, 2024.

Two awards of $200 will be given for the best infographics (jury prize and people’s choice) during the networking event on July 6.
